We focus our research on fundamental processes related to light-matter interaction with novel applications in nanotechnology, bio-engineering, 3-D imaging, information technology and energy conversion devices.

Maha Yusuf has recently been selected as one of the 50 new awardees of the Faculty for the Future fellowships by the Schlumberger Foundation, nurturing its community of women in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) from developing and emerging countries.
Lars Thorben Neustock and George K. Herring presented ongoing work on the iLabs project at the IEEE EDUCON 2018 Conference on April 18, 2018 in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain.
